Dads & Fams is a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families by empowering fathers to take an active, engaged role in their children's education and everyday development. We believe that when dads show up — in the classroom, at home, and in the community — kids thrive, families grow stronger, and communities flourish.

Dads & Fams is all about supporting dads and families to live meaningful, faithful, and grounded lives. We do this through reflection, community, and practical resources that come straight from everyday family life. We create a space where families can grow and learn, not just perform.

Our Team
Chacko Abraham
Chacko Abraham, EdD, is an international educator, school administrator, writer, speaker, and school board and PTA member. The coauthor (with Deborah R. Higdon) of The Dad Difference, his work focuses on how fathers can make a real difference in the lives of children, families, and schools. Through storytelling, reflection, and practical advice, he encourages fathers to see their role not just as a responsibility but as a sacred calling, to lead with love, to be consistent, and to help their families feel rooted no matter where life takes them.
Chacko has a doctorate in education from George Washington University and a master's degree in education from Temple University. He served as a professor at the Universidad de San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador.
